My Amphigory: April 2012

I will stand tall for the gospel of Jesus Christ and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I haven't written a note in ages, and this one will not contain much of my own words. I wish to refer to the message of a song that was once very special to me. It is a song I learned as a young woman in the LDS church, and its message is one that bears repeating. As Church leaders reminded us in General Conference a week ago, we must stand for truth and righteousness, oppose evil no matter where it is found, be examples of the believers, and hold fast to eternal truths. I hope that these words will help encourage you (and me!) to do so, because no matter how significant the worldly consequences may seem, the eternal blessings will be infinitely greater.
